Prateek Kuhad Unaccompanied happened a long time back, and I feel that itself tells about me uploading it about an year and a half later. It was a concert focused on ambient sound experience to suit Prateek's music in intimate settings, with singularity on Prateek on the piano without accompaniments (thus the "unaccompanied"). So the first round of options looked something like these, with a subject matter of symbolic meaning right in the centre, including things like, a piano bench on a homely rug, a snug seating for two, Prateek's hands on the piano, and memories of lovers (a couple seated together hand in hand, and a polaroid).
The colour palette had to resonate the mood, so I stuck to different colour triads.
The team went for the poster with the polaroid, and I did three more versions of it, one for each of the three cities.
Out of these, the second and the fifth were selected. The final artworks looked something like this.
